Description: The Nuibari is a sword only a few inches across at it widest point and grows progressively more narrow as it reaches it's tip. the handle makes up about a third of the overall weapon in length, that total length being roughly five and a half feet. One can identify the handle by the bandage-like wrappings on it bound tightly so that they will almost never come off. At the pommel of the blade is an eye like that on the end of a needle, there is a small bit of sharp wire (a tightly wound bundle on a few inches) attached to this eye which serves as the focus point for the ferocious ability of this legendary sword. The cutting edge of this blade is not much, only able to cause one to three inch lacerations on exposed skin and not break through any metallic level materials, the true power of this blade rests almost completely in the tip. The tip of this blade is as sharp as a chidori strike, able to pierce through absolutely everything with no problem and while that is very powerful it means that only pinpointed jabs have this power.
Abilities: At the cost of the wielder's own chakra the Nuibari is able to produce thread attached to it's eye and ready for use. This thread is just like ninja wire except that it is made of an unknown and non-metallic substance and is just as durable as the blade itself. The durability of the thread however gives way to the sword that made it, making it easy for the wielder to cut off a length of the wire with the otherwise almost useless cutting edge of the legendary sword. The amount of thread created is equivalent to the amount of chakra poured into the blade, for every 5 points of chakra the user gives up they can create ten feet of wire. The maximum amount of wire able to be created in one topic is 150 feet.
Durability: Composed of a chakra enhanced mixture of tungsten and titanium making the weapon extremely durable. Unable to be broken by other weapons but if hit directly by a S rank technique it will break apart.
History: Nubari is an ancient weapon that was originally crafted centuries ago by the people of the northern territories to represent the tooth of a giant dragon. This dragon was known as none other than Nuibari and was a terror that destroyed villages and carried off villagers into the night for a snack. It took many generations for one man to finally stand up and face this beast to finally end it once and for all.
The hero found the nocturnal Nuibari asleep in his lair during the day and managed to break free one of it's fangs, this fang had a trail of thin muscle attached that was extremely tough so the hero used this to tie up the beast so it could not move as he woke up from it's slumber to deliver the killing blow.
While the sword Nubari is not actually made out of the monster's fang it is a very close representation and a treasure of the highest value to all who were born and raised in these northern countries.
The weapon came into Takeshi's possession when he was in exile, going about the northern territories his grandfather held onto with an iron clad fist of oppression. In his quest for the legendary executioner's blade, which he would go on to use against his tyrant opposition, he stole this and survived for another year until he found the lair of the blade he needed. Though he often doesnt use this sword anymore he keeps it around as a reminder of how useful it was on his rise to power.
