Ripple in The Tides[Mission]

Zetzray closed the door of the hideout behind him as he stepped forward from its opening. he wore his ANBU mask that resembled that of a wolf along with his two katanas that were belted to the back of his ANBU compression suit. It was like the old days, Zetzray was fully prepared for his mission just as he did when he was still a member of harikengakure. His dull black eyes that ensconced a yellow compass within them gleamed through the eyeholes of the mask as he made his way for a boat that he prepared for his journey. He would get onto the boat and journey to an island that layed east of the vine country.

Once on the boat it set forward to the east towards a crescent shaped island. The reason for him setting off to the island was due to a bandit that has been murdering innocent people with his water ninjutsu. Zetzray didnt care much for the fact that he was a murderer. He cared more for the fact that this ninja held the powers of a water affinity ninja. He would make an excellent addition. He was now half way to the island.

Hakyū sat crossed legged in his cave meditating between training sessions, the decapitated heads of his recent intruders hanging dead on pikes outside to ward off more potential onlookers. The cave was rather interesting as it looked more like a stone house with one room, to actually enter into the cave itself one must enter the hole in the center of the room and down the ladder to find themselves in a system of limestone rooms that were well cut enough that they actually looked natural. The dim light gave off just enough of a glow that it was possible to see but one must focus to do so which was just fine for the group of bandits that called this place home. Hakyū was the only member of the raid party holding down the fort for now but the others would return from a large job in a minor country to the north in a few days and then he would be free to go and do as he pleased once more which wouldnt set well for the people of the neighboring towns. The place he sat was atop a slightly raised pillar three feet above the surface of a deep pool that took up most of the large room, this was his elemental forte and it often brought him internal peace to sit here, he only needed to wait a few more days and at last his fury would be unleashed.

As his boat neared the island that would have the hideout of the shinobi on it, zetzray was able to see a structure that looked like a large stone house. This was without a doubt the bandit hideout and this meant that Zetzray's journey was finally over. He would step off of his small boat as it collided with the shore of the island gently. He would then begin to walk towards the stone hut. he wasnt sure why but it seemed as if it was hollow. He was 30 feet away so the wind flowing into the entrance of the hut could be of no indicator of what lied inside of the hut.

Once Zetzray was finally 20 feet away from teh hideout it became clear to him that the entrance was hollow. this pushed zetzray to close the 20 foot gap in 3.5 seconds and look within the stone hut. it was vacant all except for a hole that seemed to lead down into a completely different area. Zetzray looked behind him, then left the right and leaped down into the hole and began his way down the ladder. He would soon find himself in a system of limestone rooms as he looked around. The air flow was weak in this place because they were underground which would work in zetzray's favor.

Zetzray would continue to walk through the passage that was led by a dim light. He had no knowledge of it yet but he was precisely 45 feet away from the room of the shinobi he was searching for. zetzray drew koten in his right hand in preparation of a surprise attack.

As Zetzray walked down the path towards the underground cave lake the guards became alert, while the only human down here was lost in thought on the lake there were a few more things wandering about. Two dire bears were walking down opposite halls slowly as they had heard someone in the stone hut above and then caught their scent as they reached the ground. These beasts were nearly twelve feet tall each and had red bones protruding from their faces like spikes to add to their demonic appearance. Being more intelligent than their smaller counterparts they approached this intruder slowly and silently and only gave off two ear splitting roars when they were within swiping distance of the green-haired man. Powerful claws came from either side of him from side paths, one going high and one going low from both in front and from behind in an attempt to trap him in, these bears were trained to guard and this was just the thing they were good at.

Zetzray smirked as he heard the roars of the two massive beasts. He had long since sensed the presence of them through his eagle eye compass. This was mainly because the tunnels and carved passages made it easier to snuff out enemies. Zetzray without hesitation drew one of his blades with each of his hands and propelled his left arm behind him and his right arm in front of him. this maneuver would block both of the incoming claws from the enormous bears. The power of the bears was nothing to scoff at, they seemed to be in fact stronger than that of an average chuunin and possibly a special jonin.

Zetzray would then after successfully blocking the claws slice the bear in the opposite direction in which they were facing. he then dashed at the bear who was standing in front of him and with his blades in an X formation he would slash both of them at the bear's chest to end him as quickly as possible. Seeing as the force from Zetzray's slash would send the bear staggering and the slash was executed while he was staggering because of the speed he dashed at. the slash would make contact.

Zetzray would then quickly spin to face the other bear and dash at him, he was no longer staggering however so Zetzray would have to see how the bear would strike back.

One of the two massive bears had gone down after an impressive display from the swordsman, these were merely guard dogs to make lower level enemies from proceeding into the depths of he base so their odds against a sannin were zero to none. The other beast kept low to the ground for this next strike, using arm length combined with small hallways he made a swing that wouldn't be able to be dodged unless the shinobi made his way backwards down the way he came which would serve to give the real opponent time to become more alert and ready for the green one.

Zetzray didnt have much more time to waste on this beast of an opponent. He needed to retrieve what he came for and exit before other ninja showed up. He noticed that the way in which the bear was preparing to swing his arm would make it impossible for him to evade while standing his ground or while advancing, so his only two options were to move back and prepare another attack or finish this match as quick as possible.

Zetzray would decide on the latter as he leaped slightly into the air and caught enough air to land ontop of the arm of the bear. He would then take his two blades and slash them downward in an X formation just as he had done before. This would make it so the bear's arm would now detach from its body. After this slash was executed however Zetzray would continue to advance until he was two feet from the bear. Zetzray was now charging wind and chakra into both of his blades.
