Personality: Neji's personality is almost too immature for his age, acting as a hyper active smart ass for a majority of the time. His attitude is laid back, never giving much care and joking around as if there was nothing important to do with his time. There are limited things that can cause Neji to lose his calm side. Once Neji enters a more serious state of mind, his intelligence kicks in, giving his advanced field knowledge and genius shine through.
Likes: Neji is a man of simple tastes in his standards. Most of the time he can be found his in the tree tops with his family and spiders, often learning tricks to improve his ninjutsu with them. More often than none, Neji can also be found practicing his Kyujutsu and mastering his kekkai genkai. One of the more interesting likes of the Hitogumo is hiding within the forest vegetation and discovering ways to blend with the environment flawlessly.
Dislikes: Neji has acouple major pet peeves, one being called a freak. Often times as a child, Neji was cast out because of his looks and kekkai genkai abilities, along with being called a freak. That created an effect on his mind, making him snap into a state of pure disgust and rage, causing him to attack blindly at who ever called him a freak. On a lesser note, Neji doesn't like things that are harmful to arachnids, like newspapers or pesticides, because of the risk for his health and well being.
Motivation: The motivation of Neji Hitogumo is to become the best bounty hunter in Morikage and the world, also aiming to protect the village at all costs. It would leave him mentally scared if something happened to the village under his watch because of how much effort his family has put into the village.
Fears: Neji has one and only one fear that plagues his existence. The fear of being squashed like the bug that most people associate him with. He will stop at absolutely nothing to prevent being squashed or smashed or any other synonym of the word.



Hitogumo

Bloodline: Hitogumo (Human-Spider Synthesis)
Bloodline Ability: The Hitogumo abilities are complex in nature, granting all the members of the clan the ability to speak with spiders and create web that is as strong as steel. All members have 6 arms and 3 eyes. Along with this, they do not stick to their own web, preventing themselves from being trapped by their own jutsu. The final step allows the members to become perfectly in sync with their spider abilities.
Location: Morikage
Clan History: The Hitogumo have been located in the Land of Vines since the beginning of Morikage. The early members of the clan helped build the original village prior to the attack that destroyed it. Being distraught about this, the clan stayed here in hopes of seeing the village rebuilt one day. A few years passed and still nothing had come along, yet they still felt that they should stay in the country the helped build. Finally the time of waiting became worth it when a man by the name of Skar came and began to rebuild with the sheer force of his voice. It was because of this that the clan members are all incredibly loyal to the Tsurukage and the village of Morigakure.



History:
Birth & Childhood Arc:
Neji was born on the dreary night of All Hallows Eve to humble family of farmers. His father was a member of the ANBU of Morigakure as a clanless ninja and his mother was a member of the Hitogumo clan. He always found it strange that his father wasn't like him though. He didn't do much other than help around on the family farm and practice with a bow for the first couple years of his life, discovering he had a knack for archery, but he hadn't yet tapped into the true ability of the Hitogumo clan.

While out in the fields at the age of six, he noticed a strange bird flying around the sky and looming for an attack. After several minutes of watching and waiting, the hawk swooped in for the kill, aiming for Neji's sister. In a blind rush, he drew his bow and took aim, but it as too far away. Possibly because of the stress, or maybe for another reason, Neji's third eye opened, giving him the accuracy to save his sibling. He sighed and let go, nailing the hawk before it could even lay a talon on his sister. This incident showed him what the true power of the Hitogumo were, giving him the decision to enter the Academy.

The Ninja Academy & Genin Arc:
Not long after discovering the clan abilities, Neji joined the ninja academy of Morigakure at the ripe age of 7. His short time in the academy was easy to him physically, but left him mentally scarred in other aspects. He wasn't used to the other students and the weren't used to him. This often led to ridicule and name calling due to his unique appearance. In the three month period of being in the academy, mental issues that still reside today were placed.

Shortly after graduating, Neji was thrown into doing missions with his teammates, Arana and Tengan. The three man cell was one of the most famous throughout the village. They were trained well and helped to each others weaknesses and strengths. Within six months of being placed together, they had already been preparing for the chuunin exams and ready to enter as soon as the could.

Chuunin Exams Arc:
Neji and his teammates entered the chuunin exams almost immediately after catching wind of them. Neji was only 8 and he was going to be in the chuunin exams, what a great feat to have accomplished! The first round of fighting passed and all three of them had passed into the second round. Yet, there was a different type of round two than normal. Instead of just fighting, the remaining four were paired up and pitted against the opposing team. Neji and Tengan ended up together, a marksman and swordsman combo that was a force to be reckoned with. Fending off the other team of Arana and another Hariken shinobi was difficult, but in the end, team Neji succeed.

On to the finals the two went, but again, they were teamed up, this time to fight a massive boar brought in from the Land of Vines. The team work of the two excelled and the final round was over in a matter of minutes, leaving both of the ninja at the rank of special jounin.

The Training of a Life Time:
After the chuunin exams Neji laid low for a couple of years, taking it easy with his family until the age of 14. Out of the blue, a mysterious man showed up and claimed to have seen Neji in the chuunin exams and now wanted to train him. Neji agreed and went with him right away. They traveled to the swamps that were common in the land of vines, where over a the first few weeks Neji was taught how to control the third eye and some other clan abilities.

In the years following, Neji had become attached to the man, treating him almost as if he were another father to him. It came to a great surprise to him one day when he returned from gathering food and seeing the camp destroyed. He looked all through the swamp in the following days, but to no avail. This led to a depression where Neji left and joined the village of Harikengakure

Hang Time:
Neji had become a jounin while training in the swamps, but this sacrificed much of his time and knowledge of the outside world. It was because of this that made him want to join the neighboring village of Harikengakure, finding himself too ashamed to even go back to his family. Over many days the eighteen year old wandered the swamps until reaching the ocean, then found himself stowed away on a cargo ship to Harikengakure.

As soon as he got there, Neji went to meet the Shiokage to find a way to join the village. He was given a single test, the test to fight another villager. Though he thought it would be easy, he found himself hospitalized, but accepted into the village nonetheless. Now that he was in, Neji quickly raised in the ranks of the ANBU, becoming the number one top assassins and taking on man kill contracts to keep the village safe. This is what he did for the next three years, but this all changed one day.

The Letter and the Departure:
One day while out on the town, Neji was approached b a mysterious stranger who gave him a letter, then left without a word. Quickly reading the letter, Neji discovered his family had gone missing and there was no sign of them anywhere. He quickly ran home and packed his bags, aiming to return home in a matter of days. He caught a ferry out of the village and set sail for Morigakure.

RP Sample: Renga prepared for his attack on the wolf when Takeshi made a short remark to him. Staring the first wolf he saw in the face, he raised an arm to his kage, showing him what he thought of the comment with his middle finger. He began to charge at the wolf, rapidly building momentum toward the large beast. Enclosing on the wolf, he leaped into the air and wrapped one of the gleipnir chains around its neck, quickly vaulting himself onto its back. He smiled while the beast kicked around and tried to shake him. Kazuri laughed and said, "Well, at least I know you can use a lasso." Hopefully the beast wouldn't do any damage to Takeshi or Rosuto, but he couldn't control where the beast went just yet. He just grinned and held on.
