Mission: Assassination of a Nuisance

Here he stood once again after three years at the entrance to the halls of the dead, Shitai had almost forgotten about this place due to how little any normal people every mentioned it since a dungeon wasn't the most pleasant topic of conversation most times. There were rumors of a former enemy coming back to be avenged by a second coming of the demon, the fallen missing nin Kaguya warrior that none other than Shitai himself had managed to somehow destroy apparently had a younger brother and he was driven mad at the loss of his flesh and blood. Now normally things like this wouldn't interest Shitai since he would obviously need to turn in the body or whatever was left in for examination and if they found bite marks his saliva could be traced within seconds which would raise questions about his eating habits.

Ironically it was eating habits that drew him to this fight, it seemed that by losing his flesh and blood this monster of a Kaguya was driven to the same level of insanity as the Aburame standing at the gates of death with his hand resting lightly on the door ready to push. He was a devoured of man just like Shitai and there was nothing that Shitai hated more than competition for food. He hadn't believed the reports when he first got them stating this but on his hunt last night he found half eaten bodies that were ruined by another and he was convinced that he would have to be the one to destroy the avenger, after all wild beasts often find themselves protecting their hunting grounds.He chuckled to himself and pushed against the door making it slid open slowly, the beast within seemed smarter than the last so he wouldn't be on level one, Shitai was proven correct as the entire area was deadly empty but a rustling a floor or two below signaled he was not alone.

Shitai looked around the room in level one, it brought back very brief memories of his journey here with another three years ago, a few months before he came to blows with the Kaguya master of genjutsu. A young man of the Zeppeki clan named Kraken, not the smartest one but he seemed to valuable to devour straight away though like all things in life that was subject to change just a quick as the grains of sand in the desert were moved by the wind. He moved on and found a stairway down at the far end past a long line of coffins that three years ago had shaken with the wrath of the undead within but now stood stagnant and lifeless. It almost mad him sad to think such things were fading to the past so quickly but then again it was bound to happen, probably an avid treasure hunter that came in seeking the riches of level three.

The steps were short, leaving Shitai on a ledge only six inches out from the wall above the actual floor. The true floor seemed to be a large number of iron spikes sharpened from the floor up within a pool of boiling hot tar, the bodies of man people dressed in high tech adventuring gear were found on the tips of the spikes with the parts within the oil melted off. A skeletal sea monster that had once lived in the horrid pool now lay dead forming a bridge of bone across the chamber to yet another set of stairs, Shitai followed it and saw a figured cloaked in shadows standing at the top of the stairs with many spiked bones reaching out of his back in a demonic manner who made his way down the stairs after nodding to the one who had come to challenge him this day, thinking it was just another meal but Shitai began his way across the sea beast confidently. His chakra flowing directly into the insects that hissed in anticipation of the coming battle.

The third floor was rather depressing since it seemed the Kaguya champion laid waste to everything here as well. A thirty foot tall skeletal crocodile and a fallen scorpion of the same size laid demolished against the far wall. Several other large beasts lay now in piles of pure bone but it might have just been large scale assaults the warrior launched with his bloodline. Just then Shitai released the pheromone from his kikai which was taken into his nostrils to give him a sense of battle and power. It was now that the crocodile skeleton and the scorpion began to shake and rise up, no sign of the kaguya anywhere around but there were larger problems here. The protectors of the third levels ancient treasures were rising to fight Shitai so he drew his bat and prepared to meet them. The scorpion went first and charged him with speed unthinkable for a monster of that size followed by a single second delayed strike from it's tail with a powerful slicing stinger on the tip. Shitai just barely got out of range before being killed. His weapon went forward and met with the monster's stinger, the power of it seemed to make a crack along the edge of the sharpened part but not quite taking it off. He was flung away as the tail was drawn out of the ground which was a good thing due to the crocodile coming in from the side and nearly catching him at his waist to snap him in half. He landed with his feet against the wall and held himself there with chakra as he gave commands to his kikaichu to go in for an offensive strike. They seemed rather puzzled though when he requested a heavier assault on the tail of the giant scorpion, wondering what was going on he asked and they replied that there was no scorpion present in the room, just a monster of a man with a bone sword in his hand. Shitai chuckled as he realized he was under a genjutsu but instantly thought of a counter action without wasting chakra on a kai. He just stood there as the scorpion in his mind drew closer and struck. The stinger almost hit him in the heart but he moved to make it a wound in his off hand arm, kikaichu quickly overtook the stinger and drained it of all the chakra remaining within. Shitai grabbed it with his other hand and snapped it off and the genjutsu was broken in addition to his rather nasty looking foes weapon. The two licked their lips and looked each other over quickly, hungry and ready to fight for their meal.

Jutsu:

The two were done examining their fellow cannibal now but Shitai still had half a bone sword stuck in his arm pinning him to the wall and his enemy was free to move about. However since he felt no pain at all right now the Aburame chuckled and this seemed to throw the other man off for a second but then he recovered his wits and threw his face forward to try and take a chuck of meat out of Shitai's neck. Luckily the kikaichu were ready and flew up in a massive swarm to cover the man's face, he grabbed his face and screamed as the insects crawled into his skull and started eating away at his optic nerves until they were completely severed and he was left blind for the short amount of time left in his life. Shitai stood there and watched smug silently for a while until the kikai for the most part left him and scattered except a few that remained on his brain ready to do some damage later. The Aburame knew that destroying his vision would take care of this man's mastery of genjutsu since he wouldn't know what to cast it on unless it was sound based but he was still a member of the corpse bone clan so his taijutsu was something to be feared.

He yanked the bone free of his arm and moved away, the noise had triggered the senses of the other fight and he slammed into the wall making a large part of where Shitai had just been completely destroyed and turned to rubble. He made sure not to make a sound as he walked away, the fight wasn't won yet, no he would need something nice and powerful to finish this so quietly he started to form seals as quick as he could but the Kaguya heard him and charged once more. Shitai could only hope he could finish first.

Shitai hada choice, dodge the attack and stop his jutsu that could potentially win the fight or take the strike and try to deliver a finishing blow at close range. He didn't have time to think but felt that taking the blow would be best since he wouldn't feel it anyway through the help of his kikaichu's pheromone. The attack was a fist covered in bone that went against and then slightly into the man's abdomen, Shitai felt his opponent's fist brush against and slightly nick his actual stomach organ and in turn threw up. This vomit landed on the Kaguya's face and unable to see what had just happened he jumped back to try and wipe it off, this was all the opening that Shitai needed to try and finish this battle before he took to much damage to sustain even in this painless state. He had held his final hand seal as he took the blow and now jumped backwards as the chakra he built up was released in the form of a gas from his mouth that spread out to make a rather large cloud. Because of how much he had backed up Shitai had placed the Kaguya a quarter the total diameter away from the center opposite him, as suspected the crazed bone bender smelled danger and charged towards his opponent since he couldn't see the edge of the cloud, then it happened just as he made it to the absolute center of the cloud. The kikaichu still inside his head bit down on random nerves and his body locked up and fell down foaming at the mouth, it was almost a mercy killing now. Shitai brought a kiakichu over his thumb and snapped to light it on fire, the kamikaze insect flew into the cloud and the whole thing exploded, the force sending Shitai against the wall. He had taken heavy damage but a trip to the hospital would heal him up nice.

Jutsu:

Shitai woke up a few minutes later to see the body of the Kaguya burnt to hell and lifeless with a few stray columns of smoke still rising off the bones that poked out of his back. Shitai got his bat ready just in case it was a trick, he cautiously made his way to a foe that was almost him in another bloodline who almost took him out for good but just like his brother before him Shitai had robbed this warrior of poor judgement of his very life in the end. As he got close enough to touch the body he poked it with his bat and it stayed still, he let out a sigh of relief but was panicked soon after by and burnt hand grabbing his ankle and then the head rising up to show blackened eye sockets meet his leg followed by a powerful bitie into the muscle tissue just above it. Shitai moved quickly and got the body off him since he still couldn't feel pain but that would change soon. The body had just had one last reflex in it and it seemed the instinctive thing to do was to get a taste of the adversary that took it out, Shitai could respect that but it was time to make sure it was over. He raised his bat over his head and brought it down with a powerful force that resulted in a sound like an egg being stomped onto a hot summer sidewalk. The body was now a contorted mess of a torso and limbs but with a head missing and a bloody mess of fluids and soft splattered solids, Shitai wanted to just stop and feast but was thrown back to the wall in pain, seemed the effects of his technique were wearing off so he had to stop and heal. After that he would figure how to transport the body back for study but first things first, after all without acting fast he might have bled out so the fight ended not a moment to soon. He coated his hands in medical chakra and got to work beofre finishing this mission completely.
