Returning to the Village, Unnatural Protocol

As I watched Etai escape from view, a dusted my hands, even though they had no involvement in his flight across town. With a deep sigh, and a negative shake of my head, I resumed my trip home. I would finish it in solo fashion, and after an hour, I finally reached the bridge from the cliff that would lead me to the Shiokage Tower.

The steps across were silent to the ears of many, as I crossed the concrete terrain of the bridge that lead to home. At this point, I was excited to reach the door, letting go of the Etai fiasco, and allowing Koga to become the man he needed to be. I needed to check on Yuki and the baby, and it seemed like an eternity had gone by since I had been here. The door was approaching quick, and hopefully to some much needed affection.

After another hour, Yuki slowly lowered the book from her gaze and looked over to the front door. Slowly she got up, marking her place and letting the book fall onto the couch cushions. For as long as she could remember Yuki had this six sense, almost like she could feel when her loved ones were close by. Sure enough, one look out the window, and that familiar figure was walking toward the tower.
Without a second to spare, Yuki unlocked the door, ran outside, and nearly threw herself into Dom's arms with a smile on her face that said it all. Bonbarding Dom with her tackle, she then wasted no time to kiss him, welcoming him home and showing how happy she was to see him.

"Awww, how sweet."

Etai clasped his hands together, rubbing them against his right check, staring lovingly at the two of them. How he got there was amazing, after being punted so painfully. He still wore the dust and bruises from it, but was otherwise unharmed. His shining blue eyes sparkled with enjoyment at their act of love towards each other. He just hoped they wouldn't maul him to death.... again. Only time would tell. And Dominic and Yukis rage towards him.

As I approached home, the sound of the door could be heard and rapid steps approaching. There was no doubt whose they were. Yuki's. She seemed to be on a whole new plateau with her speed to get to me. As she got to me, her open arms wrapped around me, and with the force of ten thousand ninja, she tackled me with a thunder glomp and I had no choice but to let her take me to the ground.

I would slide back from the incredible force, her love in full attack mode. An endless supply of kisses to make up for the days missed were given to me, she must have missed me. Finally after her love assault, I was able to catch up to her rambunctious late night mood. I wrapped my arms around her back and embraced her with a tight hug. I finally started to catch up to her kisses.

As Dom embraced her tightly after they had fallen Yuki smiled widely and returned his hug. Luckily for Etai it seemed the two of them were too wrapped up in welcoming each other home with hugs and kisses that they didn't even know he was there. Yuki was so happy to see her husband back home.
She never let him go while they remained in their position on the ground, happier then ever before. How she missed these tender moments, they would be catching up with them now though.

The moment lasted just enough as we showed our affection rather publicly in front of Etai. I would roll over on top of Yuki, then raised up, grabbing Yuki by the waist as I brought her up with me, looking into her eyes the entire way. As I raised her up, I looked down at her now as I stood straight. A soft smile came over my expression as I spoke to her.

"Did you miss me?"

Yuki grinned as Dom rolled over then lifted her up. Her hands rest firmly over his chest, she didn't want to let him go. What a silly question to ask she thought as she smiled even more.
"Oh only a little, I think it was Hitomaru that missed you the most though."
Yuki was probably, in some ways, right. Hito never liked to watch his dad leave, even at his young age he acted differently when Dom was gone. A giggle escaped Yuki as she thought of Hito's excited face when he would see Dom when he woke up tomorrow.

"Ohh! Tell Hito I saw hi! I think he likes me!"

Etai jumped up and down, excited from hearing Hitomarus name in their conversation. He liked that kid. He was like his father, strong, stubbourn when he wanted a new toy, and he was amazing altogether. The few times Etai had babysat the child, he was a little devil those times. He would end up seeing Etai as some sort of role model. It wouldn't hurt to have a small prodigy sometime in his life. It would be pretty darn amazing if he had a student to teach his moves to.

"He missed me that much huh? Heh, he seems to have been needing a father figure around I see."

I looked to her with a chuckle after saying this, my attention suddenly interrupted by Etai as he couldnt contain his excitement at Hitomaru's name. I looked up to him and took a deep breath, looking back at Yuki with a wink, then look back up to Etai.

"Etai, come here! There is something I need you to do for me!"

Yuki laughed softly as Dom talked about Hito needing a father figure around, but was interupted by hearing Etai's voice. Hoiw long had he been stanidng there? Yuki was about to scream that if Etai ever got near her and Dom's children ever again she'd bash his head in. But then Dom stopped her by saying he needed him to do something for him.
It was the wink Dom sent to her that brought another smile to Yuki's face, Dom had a plan. That was obvious, and Yuki couldn't wait to see what this plan was. Etai was like a lost puppy, he clung to Dom any chance he could, Etai was strange to say the evry least and Yuki was still not happy with him. But she knew Dom would take care of it.

Etai was basically ontop of Dominic as the sentence was finished. Something to do! He was never tired of doing anything for the Shiokage. Maybe it was a top-secret mission in some faraway land! Or maybe it was a secret jutsu that would be taught to him some how! The possibilities were endless, and Etais imagination was just the beginning. He began jumping up and down, oblivious to the obvious wink, and to Yukis grin at Dominic. Whatever it was, it would look pretty easy to tell it was a trick, but for Etais simple mind, that definitely wasn't the case.

In what seemed like record speed, Etai was right at Yuki and I, and apparently more than ready to participate. I looked to him with a serious expression, letting him know the request. I stepped back from Yuki and turned towards him as the winds passed by me. My clothing rustled as I readied him, adding mystery to the evening.

On Mt. Myria, there is a precious type of stone. It is a rare gem stone that glows white. Find it for me by morning, and meet me in Edrick City. I will tell you of its importance once I arrive.."

I awaited his reply. It was a long shot for him to find, but it would keep him busy. There was importance behind it truly, but for now, I just needed him out of my hair. This was the thing to do that.

Yuki wondered where Dom came up with this as she listened to what he asked Etai to do. It probably had some kind of importance, but most likely it was just busy work to keep Etai out of his hair. Dom never seemed to like having Etai follow him like a shadow, and with what happened last time he was here Yuki would really bash his head in if he got near their children.
It was getting cold, and Yuki softly hugged herself, waiting for Dom so they could go inside.

"YES SIR!"

Etai jumped up into the air, saluting both Edricks, before dashing off towards the mountain, his mission above his head. Etai didn't wait for anything else to be covered before he ran off, he just did. His eyes were big, and the Eagle Eye Compass was big and round in his eyes. He would then raise his hadns, pumping them once again, as he jumped up into the air with joy, clicking his heels. Etai was just really happy for anything to happen. He sped ahead, his cloak blowing heavily in the breeze.

I would watch as the young Edrick would take off towards the mountain. This would keep him busy, and for future endeavors, it would test him for some training later. Since his mind was so off the charts, I had to use off the chart methods to keep his mind on the edge. With a final deep breath as he disappeared over the horizon, I would turn back to Yuki with a smile.

"Now where were we my lady?"

I would walk towards her, my arms out to lift her up and take her back to the tower from the cool breeze passing by.

Yuki watched Etai run off like a abt out of hell, her face looking confused as to how to look at this. Etai confused her to no extent, how did this crazy young relation to Dom become a Jonin? Then Dom turned back to her, and the smile on his face coud just about make her melt. As he hed his arms out she walked right into them, smiling at him.
"I believe we were just catching up. Besides, I don't think it's wise for me to be staying out here in the cold."
That was true, Yuki couldn't afford to get sick for a while, but luckily she didn't get sick often. But better safe then sorry.

"Then allow me to guide you home my lady.."

I would scoop the Queen of the fort off her feet and carry her back to inside. I held her tight, allowing my body heat to keep her warm even though the distance was short. As we entered, the comforts of home were letting themselves be known. The place was as cozy as it always had been, the dim lighting throughout showing Yuki's path through the place. It was late and the morning duties of our adopted son would be calling before long. I took Yuki up the steps and headed to our room. I remained quiet as I did this, trying not to wake Hitomaru.

As Dom swept her off her feet a grin spread across her face, he spoiled her but she was definately not complaining. She held herself close to the warmth of Dom's body, not even bothering to move away when they walked inside. She'd missed him, and was so glad that he was home. The night was ever so slowly beginning to fade, Hito would be up along with the sun in no time.
Sleep sounded wonderful, especially to Yuki. Softly placing her head on Dom's shoulder, her eyes closed for just a moment. But before very long, even before they'd reached their room, she was sound asleep.

I would look down at Yuki as we approached the bedroom, her sound asleep in my arms as she stay cuddled close to my chest in total comfort. To the bed I would take her as I crept in, sliding it back to a slight crack with my foot after entering. I would escort her to the bed and lay her down softly, taking a small blanket to cover her. I would then stand over her with a small grin, happy to be able to be home with her. I stood in awe for a moment. Soon she and I would bear a child together, and protecting her meant everything.

Yuki didn't even notice as she was moved from Dom's arm to the bed. She simply moved so the blanket would cover her face from her chin to the tip of her nose. As she fell deeper and deeper into sleep, her mind began to wander through the never ending feild of dreams. It moved back and forth, from the day their child would be born, to watching Hito and his new brother grow up. Even their years in the academy began to flash behind the screens of her eyelids.
A soft smile crept onto her hidden lips as she drempt, peacefully and happily.

The evening would pass us by, I having gotten ready for bed, then making myself comfortable with my wife. The tides were changing for me now, whether good or bad, or at the most both. Koga, Etai, Hitomaru, Yuki, Lacey, and my unborn child. They all were priority for me directly. My mind would slip from these thoughts as I finally fell asleep with Yuki. The after midnight skies would soon change, and a new day would sprout. What would it bring?
